Dan White heads the accounting and finance department at Roseman & Associates.  After graduating from East Carolina University, Dan began his career with the nation’s largest family owned conglomerate of regional newspapers.  There everyone knew everyone else and the seeds of a long and personalized career in accounting were planted.

With a yearning to leave his native North Carolina, Dan moved to Miami where his career in accounting saw many new heights and challenges.  Dan landed in Miami and started with ACDG, the premier builder of high rise living.  The ever changing and often tumultuous world of real estate and construction proved a school of knowledge one could only dream of in class.  Here it was action packed every day.  Navigating the zenith rise in the real estate industry in the late 1980s to the bargain basement bust of the early 90s, Dan carved out a niche for himself in an industry that looks big, but had a very select number of players; ones that Dan still calls on to this day.

The mid 90s ushered many new and exciting changes.  A career move into the world of international ship management was launched.  Whether it was participating in buying and then selling a cruise ship in less than 10 days, to brokering finance between various foreign corporate owners, to everyday management of a fleet of 10 different ships, Dan saw every aspect of international accounting.  A chance to work for Florida’s oldest and most established cruise line proved to the most rewarding.  There within a matter of months, the company was taken public and the face of that company changed forever.  Two more cruise lines were purchased and merged into the company while a new venture, the first in decades, was started in California.

The new millennium offered new horizons on the West Coast.  After years of honing international and corporate accounting, a return to private accounting suited Dan.  He brings his unique and personalized stamp to the accounting and finance department at Roseman & Associates, a firm that he has been associated with for more than 10 years.
